Michael Dunn has traveled the country designing adult programs specifically for the “POP MUSIC” enthusiast. A former concert artist and product specialist for many major musical instrument manufactures, he has designed programs that emphasize the fun of music and a practical approach to playing music as a hobby. “There are many people who love music and just want to enjoy their favorite Easy listening, soft rock or lite Jazz favorites”, instead or in addition to the great classics. This is my niche,” says Dunn. “It is so much fun to just get together with a group of friends around the piano at a party. We just want to bring that same feeling to music lessons; not professionals; just people who love pop music, meeting one another, sharing a cup of coffee or a wine & cheese jazz concert or jazz workshop by some of our favorite local artists. These things make our “Piano Lifestyle” full. I am happy to bring this program to Bobb’s in West Palm Beach.”
PLAYING “POP” PIANO EVEN IF YOU’VE NEVER PLAYED BEFORE PART 1
The Basics. Note reading, Timing, Chords (the easy way). Learn the basics to play your favorite “Pop”, “Easy listening” and “Lite Jazz” favorites LIKE THE PROS. This class will never groom you to play the great classics: but it will inspire you to play your pop favorites just for the fun of it! Gather around the piano each week with friends, share a cup of coffee and be astounded at how fast you can learn even if you’ve never played before.
* If I’ve never played before, how long will it be before I can play?
Expect to play 5 or 6 songs at the end of the first ten classes.
*Do I have to play in front of people?
Remember this class is just for fun! No one is ever asked to do something that would make them feel uncomfortable.
*I’ve never played, I can’t read music.

When you enroll in Playing “POP” Piano Even if You Never Played Before you will be assigned a personal assistant as your very own “Tutor”. Each week when you come to class, your personal assistant will answer questions and help you learn more about making music.
* “Graduates” continue in our other ten week classes.
* Special Events, From time to time we hold special classes for our students including Jazz workshops, “Music For Lovers”, concerts and clinics by local Jazz Artists.

PLAY PIANO BY CHORD PART 1
Gather around the Piano with friends each week and learn to play your favorite “Pop”, “Easy listening”, “Lite Jazz” favorites by chord, “Like the Pros Do.” If you have only a basic knowledge of note reading and musical timing this class is designed for you! 10 one hour classes will get you started. The class is taught in a “no pressure” group setting but when you enroll in Play Piano by Chord you will be assigned a personal assistant as your very own “tutor”. Each week when you come to class, your personal assistant will answer questions and help you learn more about making music.
